You can find answers to some frequently asked questions under each cottage page, but here are a few favourites for easy reference:

What time is check-in/ check-out? 

We are always keen to ensure the cottage is ready for your stay so we ask guests to check in no earlier than 3pm on the day of arrival and to check out no later than 11am on the day of departure.

Is parking available? 

Yes there is ample free parking on our private gated grounds (off street) so very safe and next to each cottage so you don't have to walk far to unload your car.

Can I get an early check-In? 

You are more than welcome to arrive earlier or stay later providing we don't have anyone leaving or joining us either side of your dates. Feel free to check with us a few days before you arrive and we'll do all we can to accommodate any requests.

What about wheelchair access? 

Cars can park very close to the entrance of each of our cottages. They are all ground floor with small steps of entry and we have welcomed many wheelchair users in the past.

Can I bring my pets? 

Calder Cottage is our only cottage that is dog friendly - maximum 2 dogs (£10 a night per dog). Hodder and Ribble Cottage are not pet friendly.

Can I smoke? 

Smoking is not permitted in any of our cottages but is allowed outdoors in designated areas.

Can I get groceries delivered? 

Yes, you are welcome to have deliveries made throughout your stay. All we ask is that you're home to receive them.

What if I need to cancel?

We offer full refunds 30 days or more before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival but no refund thereafter. Please see Terms and Conditions for details.
